Brooke Thomas

Staff Accountant

Brooke graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) with a Bachelor of Business Administration, emphasis in Accounting. She continued her education at USM, earning a Master of Professional Accountancy degree and is currently working toward CPA licensure. Prior to joining Tandem CPAs, Brooke worked for a defense contractor in Pascagoula, MS for nearly five years. She worked in Travel Accounting and later transitioned to Cost Accounting, focusing on FAR.  

Brooke is originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She and her husband have three children and enjoy camping around the United States. Studying for the CPA exam and supporting their two oldest children in their high school marching band requires much of Brooke’s free time, but she is also an enthusiastic baker. She has earned a reputation for fabulous Mardi Gras King Cakes. In addition, she practices yoga, is a runner, and enjoys vacationing in Key West.
